ZIMBABWE Development Democracy Trust last week launched the Geraldine Roche drama competition which is set to kick off early next year.
The programme is meant to eradicate poverty among youths by educating them on how to use their talents for a living. After the event, Sunday Life had a chat with Khaliphile Sibanda, representing the trust.
“Basically this day was to launch the Geraldine Roche Drama (GRD) and I am happy it was a success, we are looking forward to see what it is going to bring. Geraldine Roche Drama is going to improve the Bulawayo arts through drama and theatre as it will teach artistes how they can make a living through their talents. In the long run we want to see independent youths who do not wait for the Government to do things for them, we have talents that can put food on the table,” said Sibanda.
