Dendera musician Tryson Chimbetu introduced his wife, Nyarai Makumba, to the public for the first time at Extra Mile Leisure Spot last weekend. The musician said wedding plans were at an advanced stage. Recently, when this publication exclusively revealed that a girl eloped to Chimbetu, the musician denied the information. On Sunday he said he was now married to Makumba (20) who is a fashion designer by profession.
“I want you to know that I am now married to Nyarie and I just thought the public must know,” he said.
He jokingly said she was from London, much to the delight of the fans.

“As you can see she is beautiful and she is from London,” he said.
Sources close to the musician said the musician’s announcement came after he paid lobola about two weeks ago.
“He has finally paid lobola and it explains why he is announcing it to the public,” he said.

Contacted for comment, the musician said he wanted the public to know about the latest development.
“You had said she eloped to my house yet she was just coming to perform some duties but finally I managed to pay lobola and my wedding is on very soon,” he said.
“I will do everything accordingly but what I can say is everything is under control,” he said.

Efforts to get comment from his wife were fruitless as her mobile phone was not reachable.
Unlike other musicians of his age, Tryson (26) has largely kept his love life a secret. He was once linked to Kimberly Mautsa who later dumped him saying the musician had no time for her.
