DENDERA artiste, Tryson Chimbetu, has riled Glen View 3 residents by playing loud music in the dead of the night.
His neighbours have on many occasions approached the Mai Maria singer to address the issue but to no avail.
The talented vocalist and guitarist starts playing music around 10pm, to around 5am, at full blast, it has been established.
Affectionately known as Sekuru Dhimba, Tryson has been disturbing fellow residents.
When he starts playing his music, close sources say, Tryson makes sure that it is on repeat for hours.
H-Metro spoke to a number of residents who expressed their dismay, after enduring sleepless nights.
“We are fed up with Tryson’s conduct as he plays loud music at night when most people will be retiring to bed.
“It has become a routine that he starts playing music at 10pm till the morning and you can see how bad it is.
“We have kids studying at night, who have been affected by his conduct.
“To be honest, this is not fair, coming from someone who should be a celebrity,” said a concerned resident.
Students, who stay in the neighbourhood, appealed to Tryson to change his behaviour.
“It is very unfortunate that Tryson is disturbing us when we are studying by playing loud music at night.
“He is lucky that he is doing it in the ghetto otherwise he could have been arrested if he was doing it in low or medium density suburbs,” said the learner, who preferred anonymity, for fear of victimisation.
Contacted for comment, Tryson said:
“If you want to ask me about the issue you better come here so that we can talk face-to-face.
“I prefer that we talk face-to-face rather than talking over the phone.”
