TSHOLOTSHO based Dragons Karate Academy will grade karatekas at the Catholic Hall on Saturday. Karatekas are expected to graduate to yellow, orange, blue, brown and black belts. Miss Tsholotsho first princess and second brown belt holder Gugulethu Ncube is expected to get her yellow belt.

Dragons Karate Academy public relations officer Thandiwe Mpofu said all was set for the event.
“We are more than ready to host the event,” said Mpofu.

She said they were expecting a fair number to attend the grading exercise.
“We are expecting more people to come and support the event as we have invited locals to come and watch their own karatekas in action,” she said.

Four Bulawayo based karate clubs confirmed their participation at the event.
Sempai Sensei Branco Manyathela of Bulawayo said they would be in Tsholotsho to support the Dragons Academy.

“We are going to Tsholotsho to support our Dragons colleagues and I’m happy the sport is spreading in the region,” said Manyathela.
Member of Parliament for Tsholotsho South, Zenzo Sibanda is expected to attend the event.
