Tsholotsho RDC receives state-of-the-art fire tender from Belarus

Tsholotsho Rural District Council has taken delivery of its fire tender acquired by the Government from Belarus using devolution funds.

The fire tender is part of the 133 firefighting trucks acquired from Belarus, a testimony of the Second Republic’s inclusive development approach.

The fire tender caused a stir when it arrived at Tshino Primary School, venue for the 2025 commemorations of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction that will be presided over by the Minister of Local Government and Public Works Daniel Garwe.

Aboard the fire tender were six firefighters

Tsholotsho RDC chief executive officer Mr Nkululeko Sibanda expressed gratitude to President Mnangagwa for the visionary leadership that has resulted rural local authorities getting state of the art fire tenders.

“We are excited as Tsholotsho and want to thank His Excellency President Mnangagwa for such visionary leadership,” said Mr Sibanda.
