Tsvangirai files application to be part of Poll hearing

Through his lawyer, Mr Chris Mhike of Atherston and Cook, the premier advised the High Court of the application prompting Judge President  George Chiweshe to defer the hearing to Wednesday next week.

PM Tsvangirai argues that he was never consulted when President Mugabe came up with the June 29 as the date by which elections should be held.

Contrary to President Mugabe’s  submission, PM Tsvangirai says it was highly unlikely for elections to be conducted on June 29. – Herald Reporter
