His remarks come in the wake of his association with Western countries that imposed illegal sanctions on Zimbabwe.
He castigated war veterans for not supporting his party.
“The problem with war veterans is that you think to be a freedom fighter you should support Zanu PF,” he said.
The MDC T leader said his party if elected into office would improve the lives of war veterans.
On elections, Mr Tsvangirai accused the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission of rigging the just-ended special voting.
“Of the 80 000 people who were suppose to vote ZEC issued out only 5 000 ballot papers after it became clear that police officers were voting for change. This saw several of them failing to vote.
He criticised the indigenisation programme that saw several people being empowered through programmes such as community ownership share trust.
