Meanwhile, Tuku will lead a line-up of celebrated female artistes in a unique performance dubbed, “Tuku and Sistaz United” at the Book Café tonight.

The lively gathering will be celebrating achievements of the country’s female singers, songwriters and instrumentalists who are movers and shakers on the performing arts landscape.

Tuku, who is making waves across the globe, is expected to deliver his best before departing for his latest international tour.

Dudu, Clare, Uza, Kessia Magosha and Edith we Utonga are also raring to go.

These women artistes create the network of “women artists for women artiste” – an amazing support  system which has grown within the FLAME programme.
An early start at 7pm kicks off the show with hot new talent from the youth programme, by the young afro- Pop band “Gwenga”. Showing smoke so far and destined for greater things, the band will start with their inclusion in this “big name” event by sharing stage with some of Zimbabwe’s finest artistes.
