Tuku warms up for ‘Last Gig’ at ZimCafé Hotel

The “Todii” singer is raring to go and has promised fans a wonderful time in song and dance.
He had been on a whirlwind tour of the  country and tonight’s show is no exception.

Tuku has over the years proved to be a real superstar as he can keep revellers on the dance floor.
Fans should expect Tuku’s all-time hits like “Mutserendende”, “Chirinani”, “Todii” and “Tozeza Baba” among others.

It remains to be seen whether or not he will also sample new songs off his album “Sarawoga” but the fact is that the grandmaster has never disappointed at shows of such magnitude. A prolific musician with 60 albums to his name, composer of more than three movie soundtracks, a contributor to Mahube,

Southern Africa’s “super-group”, an actor too, and those who are planning to attend the show, know that they will not be disappointed.

He has mastered the act of entertaining, using his music, stage confidence, well-choreographed performances and his signature tune — the traditional cough — to endear himself to his fans.

What makes his performances outstanding is his vocal ability, which when coupled with his acoustic sound, ignites a revelling mood among many a music fan.

It is not uncommon to see fans at any of his shows, either young or old, swaying to the beat of “Tozeza Baba”, or one of his many hit tracks from years gone by.
