Prevail International Group managing director Paul Tempter Tungwarara says he is happy to have played a part in bringing the T10 cricket Tournament in the country as an initiative to market the country internationally and develop youths and the sport locally.

The tournament kicked off today at Harare Sports Club.

“Iam very glad finally that our anouncement in 2021 to the media that we are working to bring T10 to Zimbabwe has finally come to fruition.

I’m overwhelmed with joy and I want to thank Mr Mulk for what he has done to the nation, I say congratulations to him,” said Tungwarara.

In an interview with this publication in 2021 Tungwarara said plans to bring the shortest format of cricket to Zimbabwe is part of the organisation’s objective to market the country internationally and develop youths and the sport after meeting President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

“This is part of our wider initiative to market the country internationally and at the same time promoting local fans to enjoy the game.
