“We have been practicing, working on our skills and trying to polish them.
“We have been playing in the NPL and now that we are getting into Tuskers season, we have been having full days of training, working on the longer version stuff.
“The boys are looking nice and prepared and are very pumped up for it. It’s not a secret that in the past two seasons we haven’t done well, especially in the longer version, so we are really preparing so that we get back to winning trophies.
“We are working hard so that we win the Logan Cup this season,” said Chari.
He said they have a good blend of experience and youth, which will aid the team throughout the season.
“We have experienced guys within our ranks, Ernest Masuku, who has had an international call-up, and we have Nkosana Mpofu, who has been our experienced batter for a long time.

“The squad is very strong; the guys who have been playing for longer periods are helping out the youngsters.
“We have exciting youngsters in our team as well, Munashe Chimusoro, who has done well in the NPL.
“We also have guys like Tanatswa Bechani, Tawanda Maposa, Talent Dzikiti, Prince Kaunda, who have all come a long way and have been doing well. There are some of the guys to look at this season,” said Chari.
He also called on the local cricket faithful to come out in numbers and rally behind the team.
“I will take it from NPL, we have had a lot of people following our games in Bulawayo and we promise that this season, as Tuskers, we will be doing a lot better than we have in the previous seasons.
“We urge fans to come in numbers, they will be entertained and enjoy the brand of cricket that we want to play in this coming season,” he said.
