Reports say he is looking after his pregnant wife who is due to deliver soon. Since his departure Twalumba have picked five points in their last four matches — winning 1-0 against DC Academy, losing 2-1 to Eiffel Flats, a 1-1 draw against ZPC Kariba and a 2-2 draw against Flame Lily.
They have dropped to fifth place on the table with 23 points from 14 games, trailing log leaders Black Rhinos by nine points. Coach Wilson Mutekede is, however, not moved by the recent poor run of results as he feels his team is playing good football but have been victims of bad officiating.
“In terms of performance we are playing well, but sometimes, there are some factors that determine the game than the playing field itself.”
DStv coach Masimba Mutame was in a relaxed mood going into the battle.
“We are expecting a good game and we hope match officials will be fair this time around unlike the ones who handled our last game against Eiffel Flats, they were biased,” said Mutame.
