THE Twins Association of Zimbabwe leaders celebrated their recent award, which they received from Business Connect, at Matopos Hills in Bulawayo.
The founder and president of TAZ, Farai Lawyer Katonha, and his twin brother Tendai Mayor Katonha said the award from Business Connect was a huge honour to them.
“We feel energised by the honour given to us,” said Katonha.
“At times, you feel weak from the negative comments we get but this recognition inspired us.
“We decided to lead some of the twins to Matopos as we celebrated the award.
“Twins and multibirth face a number of challenges but very few people understand that.
“Besides visiting our historical sites, we took the opportunity to share ideas in coming up with our 2025 resolutions as well as revisiting where we failed in 2024.
“We continue to call upon churches, corporates and individuals to support TAZ in addressing challenges faced by parents of twins and multibirth,” said Farai.
The Katonha twins have been leading a number of twins in accessing decent shelter, clothes and educational needs.
Business Connect director Delight Makotose said they were inspired by the Katonha twins’ authentic leadership and remarkable ability to transform challenges into opportunities.
“We honour you as a beacon of excellence, recognising the resilience and innovation of excellence,” said Makotose.
