A TWINS Association of Zimbabwe (TAZ) delegation is expected to join scores of twins from other countries at a regional summit in Zambia this weekend.
TAZ president, Farai Lawyer Katonha, told H-Metro that the summit will be held on the sidelines of Twins Foundation of Zambia National Welfare Day.
“We are leaving the country to join other regional countries in Lusaka, Zambia.
“Other nations, within the region, are facing same challenges that are to do with multiple births and twins.
“As TAZ, we continue to encourage member organisations to work hard towards the welfare of twins and multiple births in their respective communities,” said Katonha.
Farai and Tendai Mayor Katonha are the current Chairpersons of Southern Africa Development Committee of Twins Associations (SADCTA).
They are also expected to officially open a school for Zambian twins and a SADCTA office.
