Two gunmen nabbed in Beitbridge

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has arrested two men in Beitbridge for parading an illegal fire arm at Dulivhadzimu bus terminus.

The suspects were arrested on Thursday following a tip off.

In a statement on Friday the ZRP said the suspects were arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm.

“On October 2, 2025, police in Beitbridge acted on received information and arrested Simbarashe Jimmy Madziva (27) at Dulivhadzimu Bus Terminus for unlawful possession of a pistol loaded with a magazine of seven blank cartridges. The suspect implicated, Munyaradzi Chitsike (39), leading to his arrest,” said the police.

Of late the police has been crackibg down on smugglers of fire arms at the Limpopo River.
