TWO women have found themselves entangled in a love triangle involving a teacher from Hillbright Science College.

The Mutare Civil Court recently granted a protection order, binding both Shanice Nyadombo (26) and Natasha Tembani (26), to observe peace towards each other following allegations that Natasha had an illicit affair with the latter’s hubby, Kudakwashe Nyadombo (28).

A visibly upset Shanice informed the court presided over by Mutare magistrate, Ms Prisca Manhibi that she had evidence of her husband’s affair with Natasha, having caught them together several times.

“I have had enough of this situation. My brother-in-law informed me that another woman is using my home, and recklessly misusing my belongings,” said Shanice, adding that Natasha seized the chance to seduce her husband while she was away in Bulawayo pursuing her nursing studies.

This followed disagreements with her husband sometime in December that led to her departure from their marital home.

“Your worship, I wedded my husband here in this court in 2022. When I left my matrimonial home in December, it was just a temporary solution, and we were already resolving our differences with my husband,” said Shanice.

She further alleged that Tembani’s behaviour worsened the situation by using her car for personal errands, including visiting bars and engaging in intimate activities with other partners in the vehicle.

“She is also using my car to sleep with her boyfriends because the last time I was told that my husband was beaten by one of her boyfriends at a city bar,” she said.

Upon discovering the affair in May 2024, Shanice directly confronted Tembani through the phone, warning her that the man she was involved with was her husband, and urging her to end the relationship. However, Tembani told the court that Shanice and Kudakwashe were no longer together, citing her alleged abuse of her husband.

She said she was preparing to marry him.

“When we started dating, Shanice had already left Kudakwashe, and for the record, he even introduced me to his relatives as his new wife,” said Tembani.

Tembani said she had left her rented apartment, and was now staying with her two sons at Kudakwashe’s family house.

After summoning Kudakwashe to the witness stand, Ms Manhibi asked him to clarify his intentions regarding the two women.

He suggested that the two feuding women should find a way to accept and co-exist in a polygamous relationship. He revealed that he was only using Natasha to cover the gap while his wife was away.

The court issued a binding protection order for both women, advising Shanice to prioritise self-love over her marriage, given that Kudakwashe had demonstrated lack of respect.

She cautioned both women against being deceived by a man who does not truly care for either of them.
