Tynwald Primary DVD launch a success

Tynwald PrimaryTynwald Primary School choir recently released a scorcher debut five track gospel album entitled Tirikufara.
The album which has songs such as, ‘Kunda’ and the title track, ‘Tirikufara’ are also on the DVD promo.
The masterpiece album also applauded by some local renowned musicians who attended the album launch at the school.
The choir comprises of 20 members from Grade 5-7. They named the album ‘Tirikufara’ because it tallies with one of their ethics that there should be happiness at school.

During the launch 11-year-old Munesuishe managed to wow the crowd with his energetic and skilful performances.
He said was happy with the opportunity he got.

“This was my first time to have such an experience playing the guitar alongside Bob Nyabinde. I am happy that he acknowledged my talent,” he said.
School head Sevias Mujere said the school seeks to promote pupils’ talents. “As part of learning at Tynwald Primary School we are also determined to promote various talents in our pupils through different categories that we offer,” he said.

The choir will be travelling to the United Kingdom next month for three weeks with an opportunity of attending lessons at different schools in that country. — CL Reporter.
