A TYNWALD woman was taken to court for stalking and harassing her ex-husband.

Derek Zuze approached the Harare Civil Court seeking a peace order against his former wife, Tatenda Maseka.

Magistrate Tamara Chibindi granted the peace order to Maseka.

Maseka stated that she has a five-year-old son with Zuze, but he said he was no longer interested in her.

“Yes, it’s true that we have a child together, but she has no right to harass me. I am no longer interested in her, so she must leave me alone.

“She has been subjecting me to verbal abuse and threatening to kill me if I don’t reconcile with her,” Zuze said.

When the magistrate asked Maseka to respond, she sobbed.
