Uk based Zimbabwean law lecturer Dr Magaisa dies

United Kingdom based Zimbabwean academic and law lecturer Dr Alex Magaisa has died.
He was 47.

Dr Magaisa served as an advisor of the then Prime Minister of Zimbabwe the late Morgan Tsvangirai from 2012-2013. He was a lecturer of law at Kent Law School of University of Kent in the UK.

Dr Ibbo Mandaza confirmed on his twitter page, that he had received the sad news that Alex Magaisa is no more.

“A great loss to Zimbabwe’s intellectual community.”

According to reports he suffered a cardiac arrest today at Margate Hospital around 10 am.
