THE Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare, through the Department of Employment Services and Promotion, is today hosting a Provincial Career Fair for schools in Umzingwane District, Matabeleland South.

The event, held at Mzingwane High School, is part of an annual initiative spearheaded by the First Lady, Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa, and organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education.

This year’s fair is expected to attract over 5 000 learners from Grade 7, Form 4 and Form 5 classes from various institutions across the province.

More than 20 companies are exhibiting at the expo, giving students an opportunity to visit different stands and gain insight into a variety of career paths.

The programme aims to expose learners to opportunities available within regional and global labour markets and to help shape the future of Zimbabwean youth through informed career choices.
