UNCLE FROM HELL! Man jailed 15 years for attempted rape of niece

A 35-YEAR-OLD man was jailed for the attempted rape of his 9-year-old niece.

The shocking incident happened on 28 June 2025 when the man entered a bedroom where his niece and her mother were sleeping. He took the girl to his room and threatened her to stay quiet, attempting to sexually assault her.

The child escaped when she heard her mother’s footsteps. She immediately ran to her mother and reported the attempted attack.
The family quickly informed the police, and the girl was taken to Maphisa Hospital for a medical examination. The offender was brought to justice and caged for 15 years.
