UNFPA, WFP sign MOU on cooperation

THE United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and World Food Programme (WFP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Harare to enhance collaboration and strengthen programmes in Zimbabwe.

The agreement seeks to integrate sexual and reproductive health services, including family planning and prevention of gender-based violence, into food assistance programmes.

By combining efforts in health and nutrition, the initiative seeks to address the interconnected needs of vulnerable communities, ensuring they receive comprehensive support.
