United Methodist Church protest against same sex marriages

United Methodist Church (UMC) members have protested against homosexuality at the church’s headquarters in Milton Park, Harare following a recent move to allow same sex marriages by its mother body in United States of America.

The protesters denounced homosexuality by handing a petition to UMC Zimbabwe Episcopal Area Resident Bishop Eben Nhiwatiwa.

They said their sexual ethics have been compromised and allowing homosexuality will infringe on their Christian teachings.
