FAST rising wheelspinner Zet Factor has acknowledged that the Unlock Party, an initiative by celebrated artiste Diliza and friends, is a gamechanger to artistes who are given a platform to showcase their art.

In it’s sixth edition, the event will this year take shape today at 4147 Lobengula West with Converse All Star Shoes being the fashion statement.

Set to entertain guests are DJ’s Kead Wikead, Cable, Big Q, Stout, Toxic chemical, Kotwane Hikwa, Diliza, Jamez hadi, Sbago, Timeless Dj, Mlungu, Zet factor, Fraize and Smallz among others.

Speaking to Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, Zet Factor said life has changed for the better since takjng to the Unlock Party stage two years ago.

“I have known Fraize for a long time now and when l got my first invite to come as a guest in 2023, l was super excited. The excitement and appearance brought along a new market.

“It opened up gigs like Garden of House, plenty private bookings and being part of the August Kids Carnival Shellings 2025 edition DJs lineup taking place koSamuriwo,” said Zet Factor.

He said he can’t wait to entertain people this coming weekend.

“To some of us it’s an honour to be called up for the lineup. It’s my thirs year call up and ngibizwa ngisabele. I am super excited for this one and happy to be playing along some the city’s best underground/underrated DJ’s. Ok’salayo we shall always keep the beats banging till we are heard.

“It’s indeed a great platform for us as artistes to be seen and heard by a different crowd. Bulawayo has a different vibe at different events, Unlock Party is one of those events where one has to show-off,” he said.

“My wish is to see this initiative grow even bigger and see it being hosted in different towns and cities in the country,” said Zet Factor.
