THE Young Sables are on the verge of clinching another Barthes Trophy after thrashing Tunisia 60-6 as they marched into the final at the Nyayo Stadium in Kenya.
Zimbabwe will now face the winner of the semi-final game between the hosts Kenya against last year’s beaten finalists Namibia, in the final on Sunday.
The national Under-20 team stormed into the semi finals after hammering Cote d’Ivoire 55-0 in their opening match.
In the two games, the brilliant Zimbabweans have scored a total of 115 points while only conceding six points.
Zimbabwe are the defending champions after winning the Barthes Trophy Under-20 tournament in Kenya.
They won the tourney without losing a match and winning all their three games.
They defeated Tunisia (19-18) and Madagascar (32-3) in the semi-finals, before beating arch-rivals Namibia (19-14) in the final.
