Upcoming chanter Win Guy, born Wingson Gatsi, feels more should be done to afford artists in marginalized communities a chance to prove themselves.

The 30-year-old Mvurwi bred singer released 15 singles which he feels should announce his arrival on the music scene.

In an interview, Win Guy said his wish is to international.

“I am happy to introduce my music after recording with DKT Records, my music is about life experiences, educating the youth and motivates anyone who feels neglected or is in a marginalized community.

“My fans in Mvurwi have embraced the music and they have been my inspiration to move to greater heights.

“There are a very few artists in our community and I have taken it upon myself to represent the town and take my music to an international audience,” said Win Guy.

He said he is working on accompanying videos for a few songs.

“I have plans to add visuals to the songs to include some beautiful spots in Mvurwi so that people can appreciate our town,” he said.

The singer boasts about his skills to sing in English, Shona and Nyanja among other local languages.

He said he draws his inspiration from fellow artists including the late superstar Soul Jah love, Killer T, Jah Master, Hwnza and Silent killer locally and Vybz kartel , Demarco and Busy Signal internationally.
