We know most people were having a blast in church and thanking the Lord for a successful crossover into the New Year.
However others were partying up a storm in different joints around the country and are at it again this weekend.
We don’t judge people and in the words of Miley Cyrus, “Only God can judge you”.
So moving on, the craziest cross over parties on New Year’s Eve were:
The Pariah State in Avondale hosted one of the most interesting cross overs.
People from different parts of Harare had a joll at the site and camped in the wilderness/ car park while enjoying the outdoor experience into 2014.
Bush party at Domboshava’s Cave Affair. Although it was dominated by “them” but some youths were having a blast with Cool Lifestyle’s Swagga T on the sidelines.
The lake in Harare is the closest to a beach that one can get in Harare and boy have we been having a great time there this holiday. The lake is eventful most days especially during the weekends. Tuesday’s beach party was one to remember.
The most popular youthful cliques in the capital SOD Movement, Swagg Bakers and Trapstarz.
“It has been a great year; the best teams gave you the best parties.
“Let’s forget the pain we had in 2013 and let the party bring good last memories of the year,” they wrote on their Facebook wall.
And so it was. Female teens Caribbean Girls, Barbie freaks and Roman Reloaded were up in the building and looking super fly, as usual.
Happy birthday to one of our biggest fans, little Miss Moesha Chakara from Highlands. The birthday girl turned seven last weekend and although we failed to turn up for the party at Watermount Eastate, we wish our little sister sweet and fabulous more years to come.
Want to be on TV?
Vision 25, a new programme that we featured this week was shooting scenes for its first episode in Harare’s Eastgate Mall area. The team was getting random people’s views from the youths and the elders on how children are dealing with their parents’ divorce. Interesting points were raised by people from different backgrounds.
So if you want to air your views on television catch these guys on their next survey on the streets of Harare on January 7.

As much as these have become some sort of significant feature of the festive season as well as crossover parties, abusing them can be not only dangerous, but annoying.
Please stop throwing them at unsuspecting people or blowing them up unnecessarily.
Substance abuse
Most teens were having a time of their lives in parties as the countdown to 2014 took place.
The problem however was of the substance abuse by teens, some of them under age. The message remains the same from Urban Buzz,
Substance abuse is wrong and it does not matter who is doing it.
