US plane evacuated

WASHINGTON. — A plane arriving at Philadelphia International Airport was evacuated yesterday morning after the airport received a bomb threat, local media reported.

Shortly after the plane landed on the runway at about 6:30 am local time, police and a bomb squad started searching the plane for possible multiple devices aboard US Airways Flight 648 as indicated earlier by the threat.

According to ABC News network, there was no indication that the threat was real.

According to a statement from the airline, there were 93 people on board the plane — 88 passengers and 5 crew members. — Xinhua.
