US$7.2 million package launched to improve food security

Britain yesterday launched a US$7,2 million package to improve food security and resilience in Zimbabwe.

This was announced in Domboshava where 1 300 Agritex officers are being trained in conservation agriculture.

The training programme started in May and will be completed next month.

It was attended by the Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, Dr Anxious Masuka and British Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Pete Vowles, among other officials.
