Used and dumped, the story of NASH Cossassa athletes

Online reporter

Parents with athletes under Nash who participated at the just ended Cossasa Games in Bulawayo are seething in anger after the organisation backtracked on providing return transport fare for their children.
Concerns have also been raised on why Nash athletes were not given participation allowances as was done to their Naph counterparts who went home US$50 richer before transport fares.
The EYE Channel has it on undoubted authority that Nash athletes were given a minimum of US$5 one way bus fare despite having funded themselves when coming to camp.
One parent in Kwekwe tells The EYE Channel that her daughter got US$8 which is enough to get her to the Kwekwe bus terminus.
“I gave her money to go to Bulawayo after we were told that she will be reimbursed, including local fare from home to the terminus and back. This is so wrong what these people are doing, it’s similar to dumping my child,” she said.
