Ushendibaba ready to take Zimbabwean football to new heights

For over a decade, Brighton Ushendibaba has been a quiet force in Zimbabwean football, using his resources and influence to support active and retired players in need.

His tireless philanthropy work has earned him a reputation as a guardian angel of the sport, and now he is set to take his passion and expertise to the next level by running for a seat on the Zifa board in the elections on January 25.

And as the Zimbabwean football fraternity prepares for the eagerly-anticipated Zifa board elections on January 25, his name has emerged as a strong contender for a seat at the table.

A seasoned administrator with a proven track record in the beautiful game, Ushendibaba has been instrumental in shaping the fortunes of Simba Bhora FC, where he has served as director for nearly a decade.

But Ushendibaba’s influence extends far beyond the confines of his club. For years, he has been a benevolent benefactor to active and retired footballers, providing financial support and guidance to those in need.

“My passion for football has always been driven by a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those involved in the sport. As a member of the Zifa board, I hope to take my philanthropy work to the next level and make a real difference in the development of Zimbabwean football.,” Ushendibaba told B Metro Online.

“I believe that football has the power to transform lives and communities. As someone who has been fortunate enough to be involved in the sport for many years, I feel a deep sense of responsibility to give back and help others. I’m excited about the opportunity to join the Zifa board and work with others to build a brighter future for Zimbabwean football.”
