Vandalised cable leads to electricity blackout

UP to three areas under Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) in Mabelreign CSC are without electricity due to a vandalised cable.

In a statement on X, the ZETDC said the affected areas which are in Harare are Tynwald North (Number 3200 to 34 00), Tatken Gardens, Melbourne Flats, and the surrounding areas.

“Customers are advised to treat all circuits as live during this period as electricity may be restored without notice,” reads the statement.
