‘Verses & Flow’ returning

TV One’s “Verses & Flow” is returning for a third season this fall. In addition to the list of spoken word artistes slated to take the stage, a number of R&B artistes, including Jill Scott, will perform. According to TV One, Omari Hardwick returns as host for another season with special performing artiste guests including Jill Scott, Avant, Anthony Hamilton, BJ The Chicago Kid, Raheem DeVaughn, RaVaughn, Kenny Lattimore and Vivian Green beginning Wednesday, September 11.
“The success of the first two seasons of “Verses and Flow” places the bar very high for this coming season in September,” said Brian Smith, Lexus vice president of marketing. “With our line-up of dynamic performers and the return of our talented host, Omari Hardwick, season three will spotlight our brand themes of innovation and individualistic thinking in an entertaining way.”

Produced by Lexus, the series — once again filmed at the historic Belasco Theatre in downtown Los Angeles — returns with emotionally charged poetry and musical performances anchored in contemporary cultural, political and social topics.
“Verses & Flow” airs Wednesday nights at 9pm and 9:30pm beginning Wednesday, September 11 on TV One. — singersroom.
