Vic Falls golf tourney tees off

Victoria Falls Reporter
MORE than 100 amateur and professional players are set to tee-off at the Elephant Hills Golf Course in the Kavango-Zambezi Golf tournament in Victoria Falls tomorrow.

The tourney was organised by the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Authority (Zimparks) through the Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA TFCA). Thembelani Vundla, 21, who is a product of the Victoria Falls Golf Club, won last year’s edition.

He is presently ranked second on the national order of merit.

The golf tourney was first launched in the resort town in 2013, and it has drawn a sizeable number of local and international business executives, members of the diplomatic corps, senior government officials, pensioners and celebrities.

It was established to provide all conservation enthusiasts with a platform to show their commitment to the environment through financial support.
