A JEALOUS 25-year-old Victoria Falls man broke into his ex-wife’s home and raped her twice, police said.
Khumbulani Ncube, of Reynard Road in Victoria Falls, accused his ex-wife of “having many boyfriends” during the 16 November attack, said Matabeleland North provincial police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Kiglon Nkala.
Asst Insp Nkala said Ncube and his ex-wife, who are now living separately, have a child together.

He said: “On 16 November at about 4am, Ncube who is the ex-husband to the complainant arrived at her house and violently gained entry.
“Once inside, Ncube destroyed some kitchen utensils and poured mealie meal into a bucket that had water in it.

“He then assaulted the woman with fists accusing her of having many boyfriends and went on to rape her twice before he left.”
Ncube is due to appear in court sometime this week.
