SOME of Bulawayo’s top artistes and arts administrators last Saturday evening converged at the Bulawayo Theatre where nominees for the fourth edition of the Bulawayo Arts Awards, set to be held at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair on June 29, were revealed.

House songbird Novuyo Seagirl, rapper Cal Vin and maskandi artiste Zinja’ziyamluma emerged as early front runners to scoop the most gongs at the award ceremony, topping the list of nominees with three nominations each.

According to Bulawayo Arts Awards organiser Nkululeko Nkala, this year’s awards had seen 4 000 online and 600 physical submissions.
