ZIMBABWEAN golfer Scott Vincent bounced back in the second round of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Games yesterday.

He carded a five-under-par 68, to move into 34th position.

Vincent managed to put behind his first round performance, when he struggled on his way to carding a two-over-par, before he bounced back strongly yesterday.

The European and Asian Tour card-holder will go into the third round, with high hopes, as the leader is on 11-under.

The Zimbabwean was tied with Fabrizio Zanotti, Sami Vilimaki, Corey Conners and Hurly Long.

United States’ Xander Schauffele took over the second round lead, on 11-under.

He followed his opening round of three-under, with an eight-under, while Carlos Ortiz is a shot behind, on 10-under.
