adminWith the Roki and Maneta debacle in Big Brother Africa (BBA) Stargame still fresh in people’s minds, Tapiwanashe Chikwinho (27) kicked Thelma Chimbgando (23) for advising him that he was going to get his money later. Chikwinho, by assaulting Chimgando, violated the MOB code of conduct.
In June Zimbabwe’s representatives Maneta and Roki were evicted from the BBA House after they contravened the violence rule. Maneta poured bleach on Roki’s face in retaliation after he poured water on her head.
The MOB incident occurred last Sunday and Chikwinho was evicted on Tuesday. Chikwinho manages a number of personal business initiatives predominantly in retail including running flea markets, a shop and a bar in Gweru.
Their team Explosives had won a task on the fateful day and were awarded a $200 incentive to share among the seven of them.
During celebrations in the house, Chimbgando had suggested that the money should be shared the next day because everyone would have sobered up by then. The suggestion did not go down well with Chikwinho, who demanded his share. He then kicked Chimbgando on the hip and grabbed her hand leaving her with bruises.
Members of the group restrained him. Organisers then took him and handed him over to the police station where he spent the night.
In the morning Chikwinho was released and when he got to the house, he was thrown out of the show the following day as the MOB code of conduct does not condone violence of any nature.
