THE Vision 2030 Manual, a comprehensive book with clear guidelines for the delivery of a national planning process, was launched in Harare yesterday.

Written by Dr Tinashe Eric Muzamhindo, the manual outlines a framework that Zimbabwe needs to use for it to realise Vision 2030 which seeks to create an upper-middle economy by 2030.

The book launch was oversubscribed, with politicians, businesspersons and ordinary people filling up the venue.

Among the notable guests were former finance minister Patrick Chinamasa and Harare Provincial Affairs minister, Charles Tavengwa.

Dr Muzamhindo gave a brief outline of the manual.

“The purpose of the manual is to compliment the great work that is being done by President Mnangagwa in driving the 2030 agenda,” he said.

“The objective of this manual is to offer strategic planning, strategic co-ordination, planning and evaluation as we journey towards 2030.”

In 2020, Dr Muzamhindo published his first book titled “Try New Spanners.”

Early this year, he published the Growth Transformative Strategy which has circulated across Africa and some parts of Europe.
