Destiny for Africa Network founder Reverend Obadiah Msindo, says people should take heed of the prophetic statement by United Family International Church leader Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa and desist from engaging in activities likely to destabilise the nation.
Rev Msindo made the remarks yesterday after Prophet Makandiwa, this week, sent out a prophetic message to Zimbabweans against participating in MDC-T planned mass protests. MDC-T is planning to stage mass protests after its October congress.
For the past month, the opposition party leader Mr Morgan Tsvangirai, has been urging his supporters to take to the streets protesting over what he termed “ worsening economic crisis in the country” and jobs.
Rev Msindo said he was in total agreement with Prophet Makandiwa’s prophecy.
“Prophetic messages are not generated by man but by God,” he said.
“He speaks what he hears and sees in the spiritual realm. Prophet Makandiwa is also in agreement with other men and women of God at international level and within different communities in Zimbabwe who have actually declared that Zimbabwe is heading for economic blessing and the hand of God is with us.”
Rev Msindo said for Zimbabweans to realise the economic windfall they should embrace the peace prevailing in the face of the challenges the country was going through.
“Prophet Makandiwa emphasised on peace. It must be embraced by everyone in Zimbabwe. For some of us who are politically involved, we definitely know that the country’s economic breakthrough is nigh and President Mugabe should be given a chance to work out his policies and programmes.”
Prophet Makandiwa said God revealed to him in a prophecy on June 17 this year, that demonstrations would spark unrest leading to bloodshed.
