FOUNDER of Real Music Production (RMP), Decco Beats, has given the ghetto youths a chance to voice their struggles on the riddim titled Voices Of The Ghetto.
Decco Beats believes giving the ghetto youths the chance to release their burdens on a riddim, will help them mentally and emotionally.
In an interview with H-Metro, the producer said the main aim of the riddim was to make sure youths give a positive message which alleviates drug abuse and crime.
Recently, authorities have raised their concern over the rate of crime being caused by drug abuse.
“Voices Of The Ghetto riddim is not just entertainment but also awareness on how crime being caused by drug abuse is affecting the society.
“Engaging with these ghetto artists would be helpful since they are the ones who have the voice that can make a change to their peers, who listen to their music.
“This riddim will be out on Thursday this week.
“We will not stop releasing more helpful projects to the society till we win this battle against drugs,” he said.
Decco Beats said their record label would be engaging stakeholders and the corporate world to push their campaign for a better society.
“We will engage various stakeholders to enforce our quest through the introduction of various recreational and educational programmes.
“I will also strive to push my efforts through music and dance,” said Decco Beats.
The riddim will include artists like Golden Bvongo, Simple Cool Voices, Bstar, Curtis 21, Starman, Lenny G, Remmie, Bornfire, and others.
RMP has done several riddims such as Zviri Real, Success, Vision, Reggae Motion, One Voice and Mission.
