BULAWAYO volleyball teams, ZRP Raiders and Highlanders, are hoping for a better year when the Zimbabwe Volleyball Association National League season starts today.
ZRP Raiders play host to Harare-based ,Support Unit Harare and ZRP Harare ,while Highlanders will travel to the capital to face University of Zimbabwe Wolves.
ZRP Raiders and national women’s volleyball coach Vulindlela Moyo said the team is in a buoyant mood ahead of their double header.
“Morale is high in the camp, everyone is excited ahead of the games, as we want to get it right from the start,” said Moyo.
He said he will be spoilt for choice as all his players are available for selection.
The Zimbabwe National Volleyball Association vice president, Chris Chivinge, said that both the men and women’s volleyball leagues have eight teams.
