Volleyball umpire raises Zimbabwe flag high in Europe

TOP Zimbabwe volleyball umpire Sibangani Selome is flying the national flag high at International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) Under-19 Girls World Championships being hosted by Croatia and Serbia.

He has officiated in eight matches.
“I have officiated in eight matches and the games are finishing on Sunday.”

Selome has been one of the country’s top volleyball umpires in the last two decades and is a former Zimbabwe Volleyball Association full-time administrator.

To date he has officiated at the Girls Under-18 Championships in Mexico, World University Games in South Korea, World University Games in Chengdu, China and Africa Men’s Club Championships in Egypt.
