He said Government was not only creating an enabling environment for business but had also created democratic space and now the country has 133 politcial parties

He said 55 of the parties are contesting in the July 30 elections with 23 candidates contesting in the presidential poll.

The President said people must not be swayed by the huge number of political parties but must vote for Zanu- PF which has a rich liberation struggle history which brought about independence.

“History is very clear, which political party brought independence and which political party has a history of serving the people. Only Zanu PF is the party to vote for, it is a peaceful party which calls for unity, peace and tranquility.

Small parties will continue to be ruled by Zanu PF and they must accept it since it is the party of the people,” he said.
