VP Chiwenga attending regional Catholic Bishops commemorations

Vice President Dr Constantino Chiwenga has arrived at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Harare CBD for the Mass to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the Inter-Regional Meeting of Bishops of Southern Africa (IMBISA).

The Mass not only marks fifty years of collaboration but also celebrates the enduring commitment of the Church to the well-being of humanity and the advancement of communities.

The Inter-Regional Meeting of Bishops of Southern Africa was established in 1975, and Zimbabwe is hosting the 50th anniversary.

The meeting has drawn Catholic Bishops from the region as well as several representatives of the church from the region.
