VP Mohadi tours arts exhibitions at Venice Biennale

Vice President Kembo Mohadi has toured some art exhibitions at the ongoing 60th Venice Biennale.
He started the tour in the morning, led by Zgjim Zyba, who was the guide. The VP is expected to tour the Zimbabwe Pavillion this afternoon.


He was accompanied by Deputy Minister for Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture Emily Jesaya, Chargé d’Affaires at Zimbabwe’s Embassy in Italy Caroline Matipira, acting chief director in the Ministry of Sport Dr Eugenia Chidhakwa and Biennale officials.
The Venice Biennale, better known as “the Olympics of the art world”, opened on April 20 and closes on November 24.
It is running under the theme, “Foreigners everywhere”.
Zimbabwe has a pavilion where it is showcasing the works of Gillian Rosselli, Troy Makaza, Sekai Macheche, Moffat Takadiwa, Victor Nyakauru and Komborerai Chapfika.
