During the official opening ceremony, outstanding exhibitors will be presented with awards.
The expo will also run alongside two business conferences, Mine Entra 2012 conference and the Joint Suppliers and Purchasers Conference.
Mrs Ndlovu said preparations for the conferences were at an advanced stage, adding that Finance Minister Tendai Biti would be the guest speaker at the Mine Entra conference where he is expected to give a keynote address on the development of the minerals sector and its contribution to the economy.
Mines and Mining Development Minister Dr Obert Mpofu is on record saying the mining industry was Zimbabwe’s mainstay for economic growth and development contributing an estimated 13 percent to the Gross Domestic Product in 2011.
The mining industry has become the country’s largest contributor to the GDP.
