VP Nkomo, Khaya Moyo consoles Ncube family

messages to the Ncube family following the death of Mrs Tracy Ncube.

Mrs Ncube was wife to Zanu-PF Politburo member Cde Abednico Ncube.
Mrs Ncube died this week at Mpilo Central Hospital.

VP Nkomo said the party had lost a dedicated cadre who fought against the “evils of colonial bondage and racism”.
“She remained a loyal and patriotic member of Zanu-PF till death. On behalf of the Zanu-PF political leadership in Matabeleland region and indeed on my own behalf, I wish to express our heartfelt condolences to the Ncube and Ndhlovu families, the Zanu-PF membership in Matabeleland South and the entire Gwanda community on the untimely loss,” he said.

Cde Khaya Moyo said he had learnt with “shock and dismay” the death of Mrs Ncube.
“She was indeed not only your longtime companion and dependable persona in your illustrious service to Zimbabwe pre and post-independence, but a mother of your wonderful and well nurtured siblings.

“Your loss is our loss as well,” he said.
Cde Khaya Moyo added: “As you continue to play a pivotal role as a Politburo member of the revolutionary Zanu-PF party, be rest assured of our plural comradeship during this trying moment.
“We wish you and your family strength and staying power. You will overcome,” he said.
