Zanu-PF Member of Parliament for Gokwe-Nembudziya Constituency Cde Justice Mayor Wadyajena was involved in an accident on Monday, but escaped unhurt. The accident occurred along Borrowdale Road near the Air Force of Zimbabwe Headquarters around 10am when the legislator’s BMW M5 rammed the back of another car that suddenly braked in front of him.

Police confirmed the accident and said investigations were under way.

“It was a minor road accident that occurred along Borrowdale Road, which involved three cars,” said National police spokesperson Chief Superintendent Paul Nyathi.

“One of the cars belonged to Honourable Justice Mayor Wadyajena, but no one was injured though the three vehicles were damaged.” Efforts to get a comment from Cde Wadyajena were fruitless.
