War collaborators on vetting exercise

In an interview on Friday, the information and publicity secretary for war collaborators in Bulawayo Province Cde Ruggel Nyatsvimbo said the national vetting team will be in Bulawayo today for a final briefing meeting.
“We are in the process of vetting mujibhas and chimbwidos in Bulawayo. These people are regarded as freedom fighters whose heroic sacrifices led to the attainment of our hard won independence in 1980,” said Cde Nyatsvimbo.
“The national vetting team, led by war veterans will be in Bulawayo and all chimbwidos and mujibas are expected to attend the final briefing, which would be held at Zanu-PF provincial offices on Monday (today) at 10am,” he said.
Cde Nyatsvimbo urged all war collaborators from Bulawayo and surrounding areas to come for vetting so that they could be registered.
“It is important for these freedom fighters to come in their numbers and be vetted. War collaborators are recognised by the constitution of the country and they must be  vetted.
“Plans were made some years back to register the chimbwidos and mujibhas but the process never materialised. However, we are confident that this year the process will be concluded,” said Cde Nyatsvimbo.
